Recently, Chen Keshi compiled a series of "Guidelines for the Design of Traditional Architectural Features in Xizang", which was compiled under the guidance of the residential construction departments of cities and counties in Shannan City, Linzhi City and other regions, and systematically expounded the traditional architecture of Xizang. Design for overall improvement of urban style and landscape in the 5.8 square kilometer historical urban area surrounding the Potala Palace

In 2022, the Lhasa Municipal Party Committee and Government proposed a plan to enhance the overall urban style and landscape of the 5.8 square kilometer historical urban area around the Potala Palace and commissioned us to carry out the design work. Lhasa is an internationally renowned historical and cultural city, and also the most outstanding representative of Tibetan architectural art. We suggest benchmarking the five square kilometers centered around the Louvre in Paris and the five square kilometers centered around Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park in London, and proposing a detailed urban design plan for the overall urban and landscape enhancement of the surrounding 5.8 square kilometers centered around the Potala Palace.
