Graduated from the school of architecture, Tsinghua University in 1988 with a master's degree; In 1994, he graduated from the school of Social Sciences of the University of Edinburgh with a doctorate. Main awards and works: won the first prize of China's first college student design competition in 1982, the scholar scholarship of Edinburgh University in 1988, the Henry Lester award and the Sino British Culture Fund Award in 1992, and the first prize of excellent planning and design for post disaster reconstruction of the State Council in 2009. His works include "design to conscience", "modern interpretation of Tibetan Architecture", "Wenchuan green new town", "urban imagination", "urban design and the revival of ancient towns", "urban design: a clear sky" and so on. Professor Chen Keshi is the chief designer of Wenchuan Shuimo Town, the "global best example of post disaster reconstruction" selected by the United Nations, the chief architect of the architectural design scheme of Zhuhai opera house, the only "Sun Moon shell" built on the sea in China, the chief designer of Lulang international tourism town, a key project of Guangdong Province to aid Tibet, the first chief architect of the international bidding scheme of Shenzhen Bay super headquarters, and the chief designer of the main hall of Gannan (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo. He has presided over and completed the conceptual planning and urban design of famous historical and cultural cities such as Xi'an, Chengdu, Kunming, Dali, Dujiangyan, Foshan, Shantou and Jingdezhen. In 2013, the people's Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region hired Professor Chen Keshi as an adviser to the people's Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region and also a government adviser to Chengdu, Shenzhen and other cities.
