Shenzhen gankeng Hakka town

The project is located in gankeng community, Buji street, Longgang District, Shenzhen, with a total planned land area of about 311.26 hectares. Taking the earth landscape as the background, relying on the valley style and taking the Hakka style as the theme, create a kilometer long Hakka landscape street. Sort out the ecological landscape structure according to local conditions, highlight the small town form of mountains, water, fields and gardens, create a rich and unified architectural language, protect and repair traditional Hakka houses, transform and improve the current industrial buildings, create a theme Hakka guild courtyard with strong local color, harmoniously unify the style of the whole town, and carefully build an attractive gankeng Hakka town.


The project is a major project in Shenzhen in 2013 and 2014. It is divided into four functional areas: core cultural leisure area, cultural and creative industry area, ecological park experience area and residents' living service area, which is divided into three phases. As one of the sub venues of the 2014 and 2015 ICIF, gankeng Hakka town has become another new destination for Shenzhen citizens for leisure and vacation.
