On the morning of April 28, Zhu Xiaodan, governor of Guangdong Province, issued two letters of appointment to Professor Chen Keshi of the school of urban planning and design, the chief consultant and chief designer of the planning and design of "Lulang international tourism town", a key project to aid Tibet.

 


After the completion of the planning and architectural design scheme of "Lulang international tourism town", a key project of Guangdong Province to aid Tibet, presided over and designed by Professor Chen Keshi, it was highly praised by the leaders of Guangdong provincial government and Tibet Autonomous Region. In order to better implement the deepening of the planning and design of "Lulang international tourism town" and the smooth progress of the project construction, the Guangdong provincial government decided to establish the project headquarters of "Lulang international tourism town" with Vice Governor Xu Shaohua as the General Commander, director Li Chunhong of Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission as the Deputy General Commander and Professor Chen Keshi as the general consultant. At the same time, China Urban Design Research Center of Peking University was appointed as the chief consultant of the "Lulang international tourism town" project, and Professor Chen Keshi was appointed as the chief designer of the "Lulang international tourism town" project, fully responsible for the whole process of planning and design of the project.



According to the arrangement of the headquarters, the Sixth Batch of Guangdong Tibet assistance task force will be responsible for the municipal works, primary schools, town governments and other public facilities of the town. Poly Group, Evergrande group, Pearl River Investment and Guangdong China Tourism Investment Group will be responsible for the investment and construction of small town tourism facilities, including three super five-star hotels, with a total investment expected to exceed 3 billion yuan. "Lulang international tourism town" is a key project for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Tibet Autonomous Region. It is built in accordance with the highest international standards and will become a world-class tourism brand after completion.
