In this grand ceremony, as the executive vice president unit of Shenzhen Innovation Association, Mr. Chen Keshi, a professor of Peking University and chief designer of The China Reconstruct Institute of Architectural & Urban Design, was invited to participate in the launching ceremony of Cultural Innovation Association. On behalf of Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University, he signed a cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Innovation Association on the responsibility system of chief designer, signed a chief consultant contract with the owner under the responsibility system of chief designer, and used their professional knowledge and technical platform, For the development and construction of large-scale projects such as tourist towns, old city reconstruction, new town development, park construction and theme parks, carry out a series of specific work cooperation, clarify their respective functions and provide linkage services for the project. From project communication, preliminary planning, investment attraction, to urban planning, urban design, engineering design (architecture, landscape), project construction, as well as project coordination and management, progress control, quality control and final artistic effect control, we provide the whole process of professional services.
The forum was opened by Mr. Paul Owens, Secretary General of the world urban culture forum, and Mr. John Hawkins made a concluding speech. In the interactive discussion session, Professor Chen Keshi of Peking University, a famous scholar, discussed the current popular model of promoting the development of creative economy with creative parks in China. He proposed that "culture is the last competitiveness of the city", "finance and culture are the double engines of Shenzhen's development" and emphasized the "organic growth process" of urban development.

Leading the ZY Urban Design team, Chen Keshi centered the master plan on organic urban renewal. Rejecting large-scale demolition and reconstruction, the team revitalized existing stock spaces, preserved local cultural heritage, and upgraded industrial formats to deliver the comprehensive urban design of Dapeng Marine Cultural Town, creating a benchmark renewal model in Shenzhen where old and new coastal landscapes coexist harmoniously.
