It has a history of more than 2000 years. It is a provincial famous historical and cultural city, the birthplace of Lingnan culture and one of the ancestors of Hakka people.
The planning scope of Tuocheng ancient town is centered on Tuocheng ancient town, with a land area of about 268.9 hectares.
Planning positioning
A tourist resort integrating "food, housing, tourism and entertainment", it realizes the vision of "Pingyao in the north and Tuocheng in the South", creates the most famous "ancient town of Qin and Han Dynasties" in China, and organically integrates the ancient city with the surrounding areas to make it a source of vitality to drive the local economic development.
Design concept
The core area of Tuocheng ancient city is the existing ancient city of Song Dynasty. Combing with the design concept of complete form and landscape priority, the plan is aiming to create an optimized spatial layout, using ecological construction ideas and integrating the original historical and cultural resources of Tuocheng ancient city, to form a competitive and differentiated historical, cultural and eco-tourism ancient town.
Here, the rivers in the valley flow forever; here, the splendid culture never dies; here, the designer started the "Tuocheng tourist destination" with the original intention of respecting history, nature and local people.
After extensive data collection and many field investigations in the early stage of the project, integrated regional historical and cultural protection, creative tourism industry development and ecological sustainable development in the overall planning, and Prof.Chen finally planned a reasonable design scheme with reasonable route, complete supporting facilities and life and development construction.
