In 2021, commissioned by the People's Government of Zaduo County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, Professor Chen Keshi and his team completed the planning and urban design scheme for the Sanjiangyuan Angsai Snow Leopard Town. As the entrance town of Sanjiangyuan National Park, Xuebao Town is located at the southernmost end of Sanjiangyuan National Park, within the Angsai Grand Canyon of Lancang River Park, with a planned and designed area of about 150 hectares.

 

The design plan integrates the integration of scientific research town and nature into the spatial layout of the town; Based on the national park protected areas with the Lancang River and Yangtze River as the core, create a functional area with multiple themes such as wildlife tracking, scientific research, natural science education, and outdoor adventure sports; Relying on cultural carriers to extract localized rural styles, exploring the unique Tibetan cultural atmosphere of the region, and creating a destination for cultural tourism towns. After the completion of Snow Leopard Town, it will become the most important tourism and scientific research base in Sanjiangyuan National Park.
