Commissioned by Zhujiang Real Estate, Zhongying Urban Architecture has completed an architectural proposal titled "Little Waist · Charm of Water – A Grand View of the Pearl River" (tentative name). From the very beginning of the design process, the proposal has aimed to:

 

Together with the Canton Tower (Little Waist), become part of the "Grand View of the Pearl River" – a new urban landmark for the city of Guangzhou;

 

Present a completely original architectural design that expresses how the Pearl River Basin has led South China from an agrarian civilization to an industrial civilization, and onward to a modern international metropolis;

 

Represent the future image of Guangzhou as a smart city;

 

With its "regionality, originality, and artistry," become a model of iconic architecture for cities around the world.

 

Located on the new central axis of Guangzhou, the Pearl River C4+B project, together with the Canton Tower, forms the most important urban landscape along the city's waterfront on the Pearl River. Our vision has always been to evoke an image of a "Grand View of the Pearl River" – an architecture that celebrates Guangzhou as a great riverside city, inheriting the agrarian ecological civilization of the Pearl River, and becoming the city's largest central public square and cultural arts center. This must be a building imbued with regionality, originality, and artistry. This ensemble of buildings bears great significance for Guangzhou's urban image and future development. A great city must have great architecture. This building will become a symbol of the great city of Guangzhou.
