Shenzhen Luohu spring Plaza urban renewal

In Luohu District of Shenzhen, entering a new era of revitalization and development, Caiwuwei ushered in the most important historical opportunity of urban renewal and development in Shenzhen. Luohu District is the first central urban area in Shenzhen. In this area, Shenzhen people carry forward the spirit of the special zone and create many remarkable achievements. Caiwuwei urban renewal project is located at the intersection of Shennan Road and Hongling Road, covering an area of about 33 ha, including urban villages and scattered old houses.

“Spring Plaza” is the design plan put forward by Prof. Chen Keshi and his design team for this renewal plan, and it is the latest practical case of Prof. Chen Keshi's “ecological aesthetics” design theory. In May 2018, Prof. Chen Keshi and his team were entrusted to propose the architectural design scheme of the updated project. The design scheme takes “spring” as the theme and introduces the air garden, green platform, indoor green and urban garden into the building for citizens to enjoy. The architectural design takes local plants and flowers as the intention, and the whole building reflects the artistic conception of Chinese landscape painting and the ideal of rural thoughts.
The “Spring Plaza” project will represent the cultural confidence, garden city and the spirit of the new era of Shenzhen city, and express the cultural characteristics of Shenzhen, a miraculous and great city. The blooming flowers in “spring” symbolize the bright future of the city, and “innovation” leads to the rapid development of the city.

It is the spring of reform and opening up, the spring of innovation and breakthrough, and the spring of blossoming with a wealth of talented people. Shenzhen, which is moving towards the goal of a global benchmark city, needs to design a “Spring Plaza” with originality and the spirit of the times, which can represent Shenzhen moving towards a better future.

“Spring Plaza” is a completely original design scheme.
