The planning and design scope is about 150 hectares, which is located at the southernmost end of the Sanjiangyuan National Park and in the Ansai Grand Canyon of Lancang River Park. It is 32 kilometers away from Zaduo county seat. The nearest airport is Yushu Airport, about 4 hours' drive from the project base. As the entrance town of Sanjiangyuan National Park, Sanjiangyuan Ansai Snow Leopard Town is a key node to display the core value of the National Park. Its planning, construction, management and protection are the key contents of this planning and design.


This planning and urban design plan aims to promote the project base to become the first gateway town of Sanjiangyuan Public Park; The best snow leopard scientific research base in the world; China's youth natural science education and ecological experience demonstration site; National exchange and display window of wildlife culture; Three river source ecological protection and community development model. Demonstrate the integrated urban spatial form of the organic integration of regional architectural art and the whole town. Emphasize the complete form, urban texture and systematic architecture, including maintaining the complete texture and urban style, establishing organic streets, public space and maintaining the excellent traditional architectural language; Emphasize the overall layout of the town, build a humanized, rich and diverse urban living space with local characteristics by paying attention to the regional context, and pay attention to the combination of the town space form and tourism experience.


The design scheme will promote the development and construction of Sanjiangyuan Ansai Snow Leopard Town through 15 core projects. By combing the relationship between the current natural environment, ecological base, mountains, meadows, river valleys and Tibetan settlement villages, the overall planning and design will be carried out to integrate the integration of scientific research town and nature into the spatial layout of the town; Relying on the national park reserves with the Lancang River and the Yangtze River as the core, build a functional area with multiple themes such as wildlife tracing, scientific research, natural science popularization education and outdoor adventure sports; Relying on the cultural carrier to refine the local rural style, excavate the unique local Tibetan cultural atmosphere, create the destination of cultural tourism town, realize the rural construction and development, and build a new urbanization characteristic town.
